123. The Potters’ house was always a favourite of the neighborhood muggles for trick or treating. Their decorations were always spectacular and the kids of the house were well-known in the neighborhood.

I don’t know how popular trick-or-treating is in England, but I thought this would be cute.

It was inspired by a fic, and yes, I knew she was canonically a Slytherin, but I can write my HCs however I like. How about this one:
123. Astoria is a total badass in all her fanfiction.

122. Astoria’s terms of operation throughout the Second Wizarding War had been to volunteer for detention, fake the Cruciatus curse, and have no one know about it. Unfortunately, this meant that everyone thought she was the most notorious torturer in school, and she was shunned for it. After the Battle, however, after word got out what the Ravenclaw had been doing, she reconciled with her housemates and was rewarded an Order of Merlin, first class.

Sure. Any characters in particular? I’ve been inclined to do some Draco and Astoria lately.

A bit about Brand New You.

So, some of you guys who have been following me for a while, through my old blog and then here might notice that I often refer to “BNY” or just simply “My fic”. BNY stands for Brand New You, and it is my next gen fic that I am writing. I first started planning it in December of 2011, and now have it all completely planned out. 121. On a cold December day, Hermione came home from work to her and Ron’s shared flat to find the house decorated head to toe in Christmas lights. When she walked in, the house was decked out in red roses and mistletoe and a beautiful Christmas tree. Ron was waiting for her. He had cooked her dinner. After they ate, he dropped to one knee and proposed to her. Without tears, she said yes in a heartbeat.

120. Amazingly, there were only three Gryffindor boys in James’ year: Fred, Louis, and himself. Combined with the four girls (Samantha Longbottom, Scarlett Jordan, Talia Higgs, and Roxanne), this made for the smallest year Gryffindor house had ever seen. It also made for great little parties in the boys’ dorm.

Can you imagine? Wow. Anyway, this is canon in BNY.

119. Soon after kicking her butter beer addiction, Winky found love in Dobby, her best friend and devoted companion. They grew old together, free elves, and had many children.
